DAY 01: LIMA - CITY TOUR – LIMA

Discover the highlights of Lima with our half-day city tour. Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. First, you’ll visit the romantic Love Park (Parque del Amor) in Miraflores, followed by a guided tour of the ancient ceremonial site Huaca Pucllana.

Next, explore Lima’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through San Martín Square, the famous Jirón de la Unión, and the Main Square (Plaza de Armas). Admire iconic landmarks such as Lima Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the San Francisco Monastery, home to the city’s mysterious catacombs.

The tour ends with a return to your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Peru’s capital.

DAY 02: LIMA - ICA - PARACAS - ISLAS BALLESTAS - HUACACHINA

Itinerary – Paracas, Ballestas Islands, Huacachina & Chincha Tour

DAY 03: CITY TOUR CUSCO

Cusco City Tour – Afternoon Schedule

Experience the best of Cusco’s archaeological wonders with our Afternoon City Tour from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. We start at Cusco’s Main Square (Plaza de Armas) with a guided visit to the legendary Qoricancha Temple, known in Quechua as the Temple of the Sun. This sacred site was one of the most important temples of the Inca Empire, admired for its masterfully carved stone walls and deep historical significance.

Next, we travel in a comfortable tourist vehicle to the awe-inspiring Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park. This monumental Inca fortress is famous for its massive stone blocks, fitted together with extraordinary precision, and offers panoramic views of Cusco. Its impressive architecture draws comparisons to the world-famous Machu Picchu.

Our journey continues to Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial site believed to have been used for astronomical and religious purposes; Puka Pukara, a striking Inca military outpost; and finally Tambomachay, also called the Bath of the Inca, a ceremonial fountain dedicated to the worship of water.

We conclude the tour with a scenic return to Cusco, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Inca capital.

DAY 04: CUSCO – CLOUD FOREST – PAUCARTAMBO (MANU NATIONAL PARK)

  • 5:30 – 6:00 a.m.: Departure from Cusco towards Paucartambo.
  • Visit Chullpas of Ninamarca and Ajanaco Pass (3,600 m).
  • Descent through the Cloud Forest, possible sightings:
    • Cock-of-the-Rock
    • Spectacled bears
    • Exotic birds
  • Overnight at Manu Green Lodge (bathrooms & showers available).

DAY 05: PILCOPATA – ATALAYA – MACHUWASI LAKE – PAITITI LODGE

  • Morning: Jungle walk (birds, monkeys, coca plantations).
  • Boat ride along the Alto Madre de Dios River to Paititi Lodge.
  • Afternoon: Raft tour on Machuwasi Lake → hoatzins, caimans, capybaras, and more.
  • Night walk. (to explore the jungle)
  • Accommodation at Paititi Lodge (private bathroom).

DAY 06: PARROT CLAY LICK & JUNGLE WALK

  • Early morning: Departure to the Parrot Clay Lick (observation of multiple species).
  • After breakfast: Jungle walk, free time, additional wildlife spotting.
  • Afternoon: Return trip to Cusco.
  • 6:00 p.m.: Approximate arrival in Cusco.

DAY 07: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Start your journey with hotel pickup between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Once the group is ready, we head north of Cusco to explore the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first stop is Chinchero, a charming Andean village known for its Inca agricultural terraces, the remains of Túpac Inca Yupanqui’s royal estate, and its colonial-era church. Here, you’ll also witness a traditional textile weaving demonstration, learning about ancient techniques still used today.

Next, we visit Moray, a fascinating archaeological site featuring circular agricultural terraces believed to have been used for Inca farming experiments. We continue to the famous Maras Salt Mines, a network of thousands of salt evaporation pools in use since the Inca Empire.

We then head to the impressive Ollantaytambo Fortress, an Inca stronghold built for defensive and ceremonial purposes. After exploring its massive stone structures, we enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley.

There in Ollantaytambo, we will take our train to Machu Picchu and spend the night in the village of Machu Picchu.

DAY 08: MACHU PICCHU

  • Morning: Sunrise in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).
  • Bus to Machu Picchu.
  • Guided Tour: 2.5 hours private guided visit to the citadel.
  • 2:00 p.m.: Bus back to Aguas Calientes.
  • Free time for optional lunch.
  • Train return → transfer to hotel in Cusco.
  • 8:30 p.m.: Estimated arrival in Cusco.

DAY 09: FREE DAY

This day is perfect for continuing to explore Cusco at your own pace. You will be assigned a guide (optional) so you can explore places such as:

  • Sapantiana Colonial Aqueduct.
  • San Pedro Market.
  • Calle 7 Borregitos.
  • Mirador de San Blas (where people place love locks).
  • Mirador de San Cristobal.
  • San Francisco Cathedral.

DAY 10: CUSCO - CUSIPATA - RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - RED VALLEY – CUSCO

  • Early Pickup: Our team will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 AM.
  • Departure from Cusco: We will leave Cusco around 5:15 a.m. for a two-hour trip to the town of Cusipata.
  • Breakfast in Cusipata: Upon arrival in Cusipata, you will enjoy a nutritious breakfast at a local restaurant and have some time to relax.
  • Trip to the Entry Point: We will continue by vehicle for another hour to the entry point to Rainbow Mountain, where you must pay an entrance fee of 30 soles.
  • Walk to Rainbow Mountain: From the checkpoint the walk begins. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to the summit, gradually ascending from 4700m to 5100m. At the summit you will have time to take photographs, listen to the guide’s explanations and interact with local people. You will spend approximately an hour at the summit.
  • Red Valley Option: After enjoying the views, the tour continues towards the Red Valley. Entry here requires an additional fee of 20 soles. Alternatively, you can choose to return the same way you ascended. The return walk through the Red Valley takes between 1 and 1.5 hours to the meeting point with the vehicle.
  • Lunch in Cusipata: We will return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch around 1:30 p.m.
  • Return to Cusco: After lunch, we will begin the approximately two-hour trip back to Cusco, aiming to arrive between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m.
